Are you ready to tryTenkara ?
Tenkara is the
newest "old" way to fish. Adapted from an ancient Japanese form
of fishing, tenkara rods are very long (11' to 14' ), but use
modern technology to make them light with excellent response. The
length of the rods enable fisherman to mend flies over water
that might make drag-free presentations using conventional gear impossible.
Although Tenkara is primarily designed for fishing small streams,
there are eddies along the river where the mending ability of
these long rods can give an angler an advantage. Plus, the lack of
a reel makes it easier to cast than a " normal" fly rod. Find out
